mk 5 polo 1.9 tdi sport

hi guys, im considering a polo 1.9 tdi sport as my first car. Firstly cos i love vw's and secondly cos i couldnt afford a petrol with anything like the same midrange grunt. how do they handle? how quick are they compared to say a mk4 golf 1.6? and are there any tuning modules i can plug in then remove for mot time?thanks

1.9tdi will leave the heavy slow brut of the 1.6 standing is it the 130 thats fitted to the polo (cant be bothered checking ) ?

just get a proper remap and declear it to the insurance. it wont affect come MOT time
