Injecting oxygen into the intake

Has anyone tried setting up a car with pure oxygen fed into the intake gases to allow you to burn more fuel?

Is this really dangerous or has it been done in motorsports? What are the implications/risks and requirements of doing this mod?

Steve, what we need is some special 20% Oxygen mix wonder if the special stuff we suggested for tyres might work??

Quite possibly. It can be found if you look carefully and can be obtained in bulk for little cost.

What about if I take the fuel filler cap off. Surely this air stuff will then mix with the fuel and give me loads more power as it burns!

I could blow bubbles into the fuel tank through a straw but I'd probably lose some of the oxygen in the process!
