A UK guy was arrested and has been convicted of dangerous and reckless driving reaching speeds of upto 35 mph in a built up area. He is blind  . Police followed him and he negotiated 2 roundabouts but they stopped him when he turned into the wrong lane of traffic. Police discovered he was blind when he got out of the car and were amazed - his fellow passenger who was banned from driving was giving him instructions and desparately needed to get across town. :?
At the court hearing the Blind guy was banned from driving for 3 years (yes the courtroom thought that was funny too.) But to cap all of this off due to a legal requirement for this type of conviction the blind chap was orderd to take a mandatory extended driving course before a driving test!!!!!
