heya people, my first post and first visit to this site, and just after a little info on a 1800 TD escort - is it possible to get a dumpvalve in one, with it being a turbo i think yes but then with it being diesal im like :/ im not quite sure, and info would be great Dickie.

Not many people have added a DV to the 1.8 Turbo - so there's probably a reason for that. Your best bet for performance is a remap rechip or ECU swap. The dump valve is more of a show off thing and can on somecars upset the timing as the engine thinks it's losing pressure from the system (most modern cars have a closed loop exhaust system).

Nos would be an interesting add on.
