hi ive got a 2001 honda civic 1.6 vtec, i was thinking of doing a engine swap to get around 250 bhp , what would the best engine and were would be best place to contact to carry out the job. cheers
 
You're going to need a big wallet if you're paying somebody to do the job for you, unless it's mates rates or something.
 
You will need very deep pockets for this but if you really want to know... You will need to go for a K20A or a K24. Both of which will cost you around £10000 in parts and labour. However, you could use a B18C and with the right mods you can easily see 220bhp. In parts and labour that is about £6000. If you are still interested then feel free to ask any questions.
