I just installed a new Thrush Glasspack muffler on my car. It is waaaayyyy louder than my stock muffler, it's not as loud as no muffler, but it's still loud. I just want to know if the sound level of the muffler can cause a fail during emissions testing in Tennessee?

Well mine is a little noisy (actually quite noisy :embarrest:) but the emissions have proven to be still within limits according to our testing garage (MOT).
Now in the UK, I am led to believe that if the exhaust is overly loud and was not an OEM feature of the original car i.e. Lambo, Ferrari etc, this can then be failed by the tester. Maybe somebody can add a bit more information regarding this in a while as we do have MOT testers in the membership.
