Cold, usually drive with at least the drivers window open in any season. Passengers usually whinge a little bit, but the missus is OK she prefers it cold too. I can't stand it when it's chucking it down so I can't have my window open!

I keep it about 19 in the Winter and 21 in the summer. My wife likes it a lot warmer than this. Thankfully our keys remember our aircon settings.

always leave the climate set at 21. If its cold when i get in ill just put on the heated seat. lol

Depends Really, the cold air generally keeps me awake, and the hot air, well can make me drousey. cold for me :bigsmile:

Thankfully dual zone climate control has become mainstream, the rows this potentially saves must be massive!

Dual zone is useful but you can only have a couple of degrees difference left to right. My 5 series had the stratified top/bottom arrangement in addition to dual left/right zones. Basically you can get either cool or hot air from the dashboard face level vents depending upon preference. Even the rear passengers could separately adjust the temperature of the rear face level vents.
Very complex system indeed but it worked superbly and faultlessly.

I have dual zone and full climate control in my car, a marvellous invention
If driving on my own then the winter setting is around 21 to 22 degrees, if her indoors is in the car with me then its 23 to 24
In the summer the AC is given a proper work out as I love it cold.

I would like a glass partition between me and passengers at times.

A sound proof partition would suit me. The MIL insists on constantly narrating everything all the time.

"Oh look at those cows in the field eating grass. Wow he was going fast. Look at his number plate, Eat Lunch Now - it ends ELN well fancy that. Do you want a sweet. Oh look more cows in the field. I think it's going to rain later. Ooh look a police car, I wonder who he's going to arrest"........

I used to point out [to my MIL, who sadly died of pancreatic cancer in June 2014] the fact that cows and sheep are not native to the British Isles and that if we all went vegan there'd be no pretty cows and sheep to look at in the countryside

wont matter if you drive a cobra or SLR Stirling moss, as a matter of fact, you can enjoy the face winding on the SLR
