Decat DIY?

Can you Buy a smaller O-ring to make the Decat Fit?

Having Slight Problem but be something silly

if the decats been made right you should just need standard crush washers (o ring)
a decent motor factor or exhaust place will probably stock plenty

I don't think the decat was made correctly as it's a few mm off.

But I'm not giving up lol, I've got an engineer to make me a flange that I'll use as a spacer and I have a angle grider here to insure a tight fit - hopefully

I've put the standard cat back on ATM as need the car to run about in as forgot to put an O ring back in so it's leaskint alittle but I'll just leave it till tomorrow lol

Yes, I do notice a difference,.... Accelator has more response than Nomral.

But I'd Suggest Not To Buy From Ebay!!! ....... I was £45 from Fleebay and it wasnt even a straight fit.

a Local Engineer could have made the same Decat which would have been a straight fit for the same price or alittle cheaper!!!

Any noticable power difference?

Lol thats ebay for you.
When I took the cat off my polo if just took the exhaust off. cut off the cat with my angle grinder and welded on a bit of pipe. Job Done
sounded the same in low revs but had a nicee roar when it hit 4k+ revs.
