It doesn't matter how hard they try to make car parks easy to navigate and remember where you parked it is still quite hard to find your car in a large multistory car park.

I had an interesting chat with someone operating CCTV in a large car park.

Most people always park in the same area, when the car park is busy and they have to move to a different zone people start to lose their cars. This is when they start getting calls from people missing their cars!

Car parks try coloured zones, large numbers and even logo's or animals and these don't seem to help much.

Have you ever totally lost your car, or at least taken longer than you would have liked to find it again in a car park?

I have always been able to find my car without any problems. These days there are various Apps for smart phones that will tag the location of your car and guide you back to it.

Sometimes setting off the panic alarm feature (assuming you have range) can help. I always take note of where I park and have never 'lost it'. The wife on the other hand...............hence the panic idea :amuse:
