Ok - I'll try and keep calm.
Renault (Manc) have changed my gearbox oil and tightened my engine mounts?! This was to solve my specified fault;
"CLUTCH DISENGAGES WITH A THUMP
ESPECIALLY OBVIOUS WHEN DRIVING HARD AND CHANGING UP FROM 1ST TO 2ND.ALSO OCCURS WHEN RELEASING IN ANY GEAR."
Basically floor it in 1st. Change to 2nd. Take foot of the clutch - clump! I only get a smooth change by riding the clutch.
Clutch, Gearbox?
Any ideas? Anyone?
The car is a Renault Clio 172 Sport. This has happened from when I bought the car 18 months ago, when it was 6 months old.
Help.

The only real way to tell will be to take off the gearbox and check the clutch release springs. I suspect they are sticking - someone recommended copper grease to help a similar problem - talk to a renault enthusiast first though - I'm not to sure about renault clutches.
