Cheap Realiable Saloon?

Hi guys,

I'm looking for a car to mess around with, take apart and generally learn from. I'm after a cheap manual petrol RWD saloon. It doesn't have to be road worthy... what car would you suggest? Just something that could be picked up off autotrader for under £400.

You couldn't go wrong with a Vauxhall Omega. Strong cars, very easily upratable i.e. 3.2 V6 being available. But if you just slightly up your budget you could get somethiong like this:-
