Bodge it an sell it or fix and drive

Have you ever been tempted to bodge a fault fix on a car and then sell it on quickly.

Or do you fix it and then keep the car or have you in the past fixed something properly and then sold it on?

I tend to fix the fault and keep the car.

I can't part with cars. I doubt I'll ever sell my MG, possible hand it down to a sibling that way any fualts that occur, I can always fix myself!

I will confess to bodging something when I was young in order to buy some time when I part-exchanged it for a newer car at a main dealer. :embarrest:

These days any faults would be fixed.

The last car I had that had 'issues' was repaired so many times that the next time it played up I drove it straight into a scrapyard and left it there!

i tend to fix them and if its an expensive fix il keep the car if its a cheap fix or i dont have time il just put what the problem is on the advert

I would have to make sure that everything was tip top as my conscience would not allow me to sleep at night
