best performance air filter

What is the Best performance air filter for a 2003 Civic Type S 2.0i-vtec not looking for full induction kit just air filter
 
Can you source one made from cotton gauze? These have great flow rates, alternatively AEM have a new material they have developed which seems to do a good job which is red in colour IIRC.
 
Thanks for the info have been looking around any chance you could post a link for one that fits my car
