back box performance

i no a muffler sounds nice on ya car and i wanna add one to mine soon but can anyone tell me if it improves the porformance of ya car?

NO.
looks and noise only really, iff your really lucky however you may gain 1/2hp

to get anything out of an exhaust you really need to replace the lot,
manifold, cat, and cat back even then on a 1.4 your only talking maybe 8-10 bhp tops for around £4-500

i agree to get anything you need to change right through the system and then add airfilters etc but its more noise and show than go.

the car will feel faster but youl find thats just were your pushing the pedal harder to hear the cool sound coming out the back

Only problem is that, assuming that vxfox is relatively young and male, finding an insurance company prepared to insure him with nitrous will be nigh on impossible.
