Any ever experience this problem

I have a Mazda familia 323 S Wagon year 1998. When ever I drive for a far distance the car will stall on me and refuse to start again. It feels as if it is not responding to the gas when i press the accelerator. It will take about 15-30 minutes to restart and then the problem will re-occur later. Really need some help.

Have you checked all fluid levels. Sound like overheating to me.

The next time it happens, try releasing the fuel filler cap. It may just be a cae of a blocked or partially breather which will create a vacuum in the fuel tank and prevent the fuel transferring. If it is this you will hear a whoosh sound when you undo the cap, as the tank fills with air again, nothing to be concerned about.
Of course it may be something more concerning or common to this vehicle but this is a fault that does crop up every now and again. It's free to diagnose and if it is the problem, relatively cheap to fix.
