Air bag warning light + dashboard message on - MOT coming up - ideas?

the airbag light and warning message has recently appeared on my 52 plate V5. Typically, it's 3 weeks before the MOT is due... Anyone know of simple fixes or tricks I can try please?

Take it to a main dealer, get the fault code read, fix the fault.

Buy an obd2 code reader, check and clear it yourself.

Second option is cheaper, but first option will get a potential problem fixed.

As said get it checked and fixed. If you just get it cleared it will just reappear when you don't want it to! Probably a poor connection, most seem to be under the seat in most cars, it's the movement.
