i have the 2.0 406 coupe. cat back powerflow and enclosed induction kit. with the superchip, a noticeable more responsive throttle and smoother engine through the rev range and, a little quicker on acceleration but not seat of the pants stuff. the bonus much better fuel economy and, imho well...

pcd is 108x4. et/offset is from 15 to 25. i have 215x45x17's on mine et is 18 hth :) 245's will rub the wheel arches on lock, i would go no more than 225 imho.

yes they are massive, but the facia plate for the 406 will be fine. had one in my 97 coupe. same as the saloon btw ;)

handling is much better, feels a lot more sturdy and the ride is really good. not spine rattling, probably down to good quality springs. i can highly recomend h&r springs if anyone is looking to lower there car. expensive than most but worth it imho:D

now lowered on h&r springs. before after what do think ;)

hi mate, i own a 2.0 406 coupe. i can assure you there is very little in the way of tuning parts for our model, even in the uk. it is possible though, for a specialist company to fit hi lift cams, turbo's etc but this will cost in the region of £3,000 upwards. firstly i would go with a stainless...

h&r sport springs fitted yesterday, and i'm very happy :bigsmile: 40mm drop on the back and 35 at the front, which has levelled it out nicely. ride is good with no harshness as is the handling. h&r are expensive, but worth it imho :D

very true mate. use to buckets, one with shampoo and one with rinse water. that way you dont transfer any grit back into the wash solution. always do a pre soak and thorough rinse beforehand to ;)
