That sounds high to me, have you got the correct grade of oil in it? I just googled this and a v40 group have quiet a thread with it being a common issue 2015-2018 petrol and diesel… saying it’s a oil control ring on the piston. Hope this helps

That’s awful and lucky could have wasted a lot of time in cleaning your tools and re preparing things !

Sounds like you’ve had a long fight with the rear wings, and I’m affraid to say I think it’s the same with any new panel they are never right but I hope now you’ll get to in move on. How long are you into this restoration now?

When I bought my car it had a Sony Explode head unit with Bluetooth which I thought was nice but now I wouldn't be without it, sat nav plays through it & hands free on the phone. It connects straight away with no issues I really do enjoy it.
