2 engines? geared direct to the wheel? if 2 engines , after losing the original gearbox, then it's like you've add another gearbox(weight).. aint sure with the weight comparison of engine & gearbox. isn't it better to change the body(stripping the weight- transform to a rover buggy:lol:)...

ive read some about turbocharging,not for HP gain. but the hot air pressure is directed to a turbine get the alternator turning.. enough to produce 6kW. downside is when the car is at stop/traffic.. the battery is left on its own. is the RPM of the alternator pulley same with the crank? hope...

i agree, bikes usually have the highest power to weight ratio.. if we put the engine of the 1242cc car with 75 Bhp , into the bike.. will it reach also or exceed the Power of the Yamaha R1 (170bhp) ?

is this applicable to painting the dashboard trims? e.g adding gray or some highlights to it if not made of plastic or rubber, what's the best type of paint will look good on it? thanks

just want to add some questions in decreasing fuel consumption while recovering hp loss.. how about removing the alternator belt, while water pump, power steering still got the belt.. only the alternator is disabled from the path, to decrease the load. is there other feasible ways to keep the...

aside from keeping the pipes hot with the exhaust wraps, what about taking out a heat shield and just exposing the exhaust pipes? is there a significant effect in engine performance if the heat shield is removed from the stock engine?

just an OffTopic::amuse: pgarner, the engine/intake layout is different in the pic. what engine series is that?from honda? the air intake tube & filter is directed towards the firewall.
