Why do you go to car shows

What is it that interests you most about a car show? Why do you go? Are there things that a show needs before you shortlist it or are you happy to go to any local car related show/event?

i have been to many shows over the years normaly do 2-3 a month in the summer
all the shows i go to are mostly yank cars

i go for the cars but to meet the people you talk to everyday on the forums
i am teh events manager for the pontiac owners club so thats another reason plus i have all the flags ect for the club so have to do do the bigger shows

best one think it has to be damn yankees at north weald in essex
or wheels day down in aldershot
