Tuning mistakes

Have you ever made mistakes in your tuning project and ruined the drive of the car? Have you ever done a mod that you couldn't live with and had to take it off again?

I see quite a few with hard suspension, big alloys and a propensity to tramline and rattle and shake over every bump. A few friends also had booming exhausts and there ears would be ringing after a long drive!

Thankfully I've made few mistakes other than spending far too much money on an old shed!

I've made loads. But in all honesty the biggest car related mistake was selling a Fiesta Turbo which I had years ago. It was the fastest thing around but my income wasn't enough to keep it running so I had to sell.
God I wish I'd kept that car.

Dunno whether it's classed as 'tuning' but, that twin exhaust backbox I had didn't last long did it Waynne TOO noisy
