I have turbo to manifold nuts/studs that were difficult to tighten/undo with a variety of spanners so I removed the studs and now have Hi Tensile Allen head cap screws and Nord Lock washers in place that have eradicated the need to check the nuts for looseness due to a combination of vibration and the effect of heating and cooling of the turbo and manifold. I cut a long Allen head key and Araldited it into a socket spanner and that made things so much easier and a side benefit of this way of securing the turbo and manifold is in the event of a gasket failure it can be replaced without having to remove the turbo
