Why don't people realise that in a car, sometimes you move forward more quickly by not trying to push through.

I was in Whitstable near the beach on Sunday and it was as if everyone else in the world decided to go there too! About 8 times there were delays caused by people trying to push through and ending up blocking the road.

If only people engaged their brains more when driving and made an attempt at reading the road ahead.

It's these same people who seem unable to reverse or get out of the problem they have caused!

I see this on a daily basis on the daily commute, mostly white van man leaving the petrol statio forecourt, it has a slip road on and off and they just about ram their way into the traffic, seldom wait for an invite. Same when a lane is starting to get smaller so as to filter, how many leave it until the last cone?
