Honda civic HID headlights

Hi i am looking to buy HID headlights for my '55' plate civic type r. I have found a company which does kits online. hids4u.co.uk. When i contacted them for a kit for my car they were unsure what kit to give me. They did say however that they thought i had

"H1
bulbs in your car which means you would need the H1 Ultimate kit"

Can anyone confirm this???
Also will my car pass an MOT with these lights??

HID is only legal on cars with automatically self levelling headlights. I went with some Phillips Brilliance 80% brighter bulbs and am fairly pleased with the result.
