Hello everybody i'm new to this forum thing and hoping someone can help ?
I've just put my evo 2 gsr back on the road after 4 months of painstaking engine rebuild. Some Modifications during this were mild cyl head porting, 2.5 inch custom stainless exaust sys, refaced valves etc and a dam good check and clean up of every thing ! internal and external. Scince putting my well loved car back on the road ive noticed a dramatic loss of power and in double checkig all possibillitys found that my ignition timing is firing 3 degrees atdc when should be 5 degrees btdc and i am unable to rectifiy this problem by altering the cam pos sensor without loosing all power. (flat as a witches tit ) I have checked and rechecked my belt timing and all is spot on. Can anybody please help as i am starting to loose the enjoyment of driving my much loved car ?.......:sad2:
