2010 - Higher insurance prices

I'm hearing reports of massive hikes in car insurance premiums this year. Have you had your renewal come through yet and was it a bit of a shock?

Never pay the renewal, use the shopbots to get you a better deal with someone else then put this lower price to your old insurer to see if they can beat it, which they usually won't...
My insurance was suprisingly cheap this year

yes !!! my renewal can through from the brokers saying that the current insurance company could no longer insure me here is the best we can do. £300 more nah i dont think so. got it down to a tenner more than last year bit of a con seeing on my insurance this year i am actually 25 when the policy was taken out and i have max no claim now
