Hi everone!

I have never been registered with any forum or site, and am generally not too computer literate. So please forgive my errors, busy learning.
I am in Boksburg S.A. and busy building a old school corolla with a camry V6 engine. Normal aspirated is the aim, but I want to see what hp we can get out of it.Our local toyota specialist is gonna help me modify the engine and we gonna feed it lots of air through individual throttles [ 45mm ]
Rear wheel drive will see for lots of fun as I have fitted a L/S M75 with a supra box...Let me know what you people think

Regards

Hello mate and welcome to the site.

To be fair I think you might find the 45mm's a little restrictive. Have a look at http://www.jenvey.co.uk/ ( id do believe they ship over seas ;) )

These guys do a Jenvey 500i Triple 50mm's for V6 engines. I've been looking into one for my 3.0 V6. I've seen a Vectra with this kit on and my god does it fly. Might be worth checking out ;)

Wow! I thought 50mm would be an over kill, but maybe it depends on the mods done...
Tks for the info, gonna check it out soonest.

Ja! Must just get myself familiar with all the goodies, and then I can post some pics.
At the momement it does not look like much, as lots still needs doing and it must still go for a nice paint job.But no rush, we will get there

Theres nothing wrong with my Calibra mate, it's already been tuned to 240bhp with laods left to do.

Great! Are u based at sea level?Coz to get those Hp at the reef from normal aspirated mods seems high? Please advise as Im not too shure what to expect from my V6...

Heres the quick list of what been done:-

-Tuned 3.0ltr engine from Courtenay Sport (210bhp standard)
-Courtenay Light weight Flywheel
-Courtenay uprated clutch
-Courtenay 4 bar fuel pressure regulator
-Uprated Walbro fuel pump
-Uprated injectors (6 standard yellow VXR injectors from the Vectra VXR. These were changed from lower grade uprated injectors)
-Courtenay panel filter
-Courtenay centre section
-Gas Flowed Heads
-Enlarged throttle body
-Enlarged Inlet to match
-Straight through 2.75" exhaust system
-Equal length drive shafts (next best thing to a LSD)
-Cool running thermostat
-Larger radiator
-25mm Imscher lowering springs
-And remapped at Courtenay twice in it's life due to more mods being done.

Sjo! Ok then that's why the nice horses...by the way is that on the wheel or at the flywheel? Im planning the same but would be very happy if I could have 220Hp at the wheels.
