Hello there and welcome. Nice to meet you. My Brother in law has a Volvo 340! It a 1989 with 50k miles on it and it is in mind condition. It would seem that Volvo do build their cars to last.

The answer to your questions is yes i got the 940 turbo with the intention of putting the engine and box in the 240 but later changed my mined itwas to good to scrap so cleaned her up and made it my daily driver i am now looking for another 940 turbo on e bay l
