i have one on loan its been lying a while garage says compression low !Idont believe them they did not know mutch about the car!also its hard to start when engine hot ihave not changed plugs yet any advice would be a big help. i like this car but i would buy it if i could put it right.thanks for your help. Is there a simple way to test compression/ thanks again.Jim

Give it a full service then and see what happens from there.
Is it using oil? Or loosing water?
