Resident MOT tester! Would this pass an MOT....

Before anyone says anything, yes, I realise it's horrific looking and an insult to Punto's everywhere. However, there is some debate as to whether this would pass an MOT due to protruding from the bodywork.....anyone help? Looking at you here Matt :bigsmile:

If it gets hot it wont as someone may get burnt lol or any sharp edges i would go to a mot place and ask them.

lol its not that bad apart from the black bonnet.I t would be better hidden theres a yellow one near me with intercooler sticking out and a big dent in drivers side lol.

Hahaha they've all got dents! Made of kitkat wrappers. That bonnet is actually CF, painted black. Looks proper gash pmsl.

My punto sporting did not have any dents its a wonder as it was like a boat on corners.

Speaking generally, there's a lot more with dents than without. Then again you'd expect that of most 10-15 year old "boy racer" hatchbacks.

would pass for the cooler nothing you can fail it on
i have rs turbos come in with coolers sticking out the front and pass all the time
best place to put it gets all the cold air

and the sharp edge rule is only caused by damage or rust
you can have razor blades all the way down the car if you want will only get a advise


if anything would fail would be the tinted indercators if they are to dark tint
