Hi, I'm Racer Z.
That's my handle in other car forums.
I own a 1970 Ford F250 and a 1973 Datsun 240z.
My Lady just bought a new 2012 Fiat 500C Lounge.
I found this Torque site while looking for info on the new Fiat 500 (USA version). It seems like a nice place and I'm hoping to meet more 500 owners.
I'm slowly doing a resto to my truck as I drive. It's my daily driver as well as my work truck and tow-vehicle.
The 240z is my race car. My brother and I own it, do all the work to it and share the driving. We've got a long way to go before it's a fully sorted racer, but we've had it out on the track quite a few times now. Uhm, that would be road racing at tracks like Willow Springs and Buttonwillow. We're hoping to make it Laguna Seca for an event at the end of this year (2011).
The 500 is a grocery getter and will probably remain stock it's entire life. I convinced her to get the retractable soft top, since we live in Sunny Southern California. She didn't really want to, but now she says, "It sure is nice to drive home (from work) with the top down."
