Hi Guys....

Im driving 1996 Pajero 2800cc (4M40) Turbo Diesel. Since Last week my Pajero wont pick up like before...i don't know why....Do you know what the hell happened to my Pajero. Because this is thing driving me crazy...

When was it last serviced?

Did anything change? New fuel, service, new part? Is it needing a service? Did you drive it particularly hard on low oil or have you done anything else that may have upset it?

Perhaps it's just gone into a "cleaning" mode and is burning off the particulates and will return to normal when this cycle is finished.

Failing that I would suspect a sensor somewhere.

Is it jerkey or just slower than before? Is it the same througout the rev range?

i had this problem just before my exhause gave up the ghost and the cam belt snapped on my 2.5td.
