Looking at possibly hitting my 01 225 with about 75hp of juice.
Will a stock engine handle that, or will it go 'BOOM!' ?
Any advice, tips? Anyone done it before?

Hi and welcome

Audi engines are strong and should be OK if you use a progressive controller. However, I strongly suggest you talk to a nitrous specialist, such as NOS. You can find their contact number at www.holley.com

I have used a WON system for many years & would recommend it over a NOS system. The WON system uses Pulsoids not Solonoids so can be controlled better. If you have an American Drag car then the Bish Bash NOS system would be fine. I would recommend a direct port system with a fogger on each cylinder for proper control. If you just want to squirt Nitrous in for fun a single fogger will do that. The Nitrous companies tend to recommend running way too rich for safety but that is of course not very efficient so i suggest the AFR is checked accurately to get it giving the best results.

Contact WON & ask for Ant hes the kiddie.

Forgot to say very few Insurance Companies will let you fit Nitrous to your car . Adrian Flux are one that will. Its against the Law to run it uninsured.

I am guessing that he lives in Michigan, USA, so I doubt that Adrain Flux would insure him.

The reason for suggesting NOS is that he lives in the US. There are a lot of companies offering systems out there, NOS being just one of many.

Yeah, I live in MI  The kit i had originally looked at getting was a wet kit with a 'smart' controller from ZEX. Only a single fogger nozzle, and obviously only run it on the drag strip(which happens to be about two hours from my place( Martin, MI), or on a dyno somewhere...
