HI EVERYONE IM A NEWBIE JUST FOUND THE SITE IVE GOT A 54 PLATE CIVIC TYPE R IM 32 AND I'M FROM GLASGOW IVE UPRATED THE EXHAUST AND WOULD LIKE TO UPGRADE THE BRAKES BUT IVE BEEN TOLD THE TYPE R CHEWS DISCS DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS ON WOT BRAKE KIT TO GO FOR? ALL SUGGESTIONS AND INFO WELCOMED THANKS.

mate who ever told you that must be a very aggressive driver cause my mate had his for well over a year and had plenty of life in the discs and pads when he sold it
and believe me he wasnt shy on putting the the right foot down!!!!!!

Sometimes race spec pads have been known to be quite hard on the disks. The standard OEM Honda brakes are actually quite good. Other than that see if Brembo, HKS or Wilwood do parts for your car.

THANKS HERB I read it on a forum ( not this one) bud my discs are goosed was wanting to upgrade them anyway didnt want to put standard ones on then they warped thanks for info
