Namaste from the Himalayas guys!
I currently have a Maruti 800 and a Skoda Octavia vrs 1.8T. Looking forward to make them lightweight and more sharper with every modification. Not a power hungry guy. Need exceptional handling and optimum use of the available power.
Already deleted the sunroof and removed the rear seats on the vrs.
The Maruti 800 is taking some time to think upon, and is the main reason why I have joined the forum :) It is an absolutely lovely car to drive fast on the hills. Getting old (21yrs), roughly my age, needs some love.
Anyways, looking forward to interact with you guys soon. Cheers!

Hello and welcome. If I was you I'd keep the maruti as daily, and on the skoda would setup a special off road suspension, with wider wheel arches and off road wheels, something like rally style, but dunno how reliable are they there, and the road conditions. Wished could visit your country.

Thank you very much!

Sorry for my late reply too. Things are not going very well in my country as well. Been a little occupied lately.
Surely will check out some good reads on the website.
Cheers!

Hello!
Yes, I'm keeping my 800 as a daily. Got the engine work and service done a few days ago.
Now, I have to replace the brakes and rear dampers as they are completely worn out. Was wondering if I have some good aftermarket replacements for the same. The stock suspension and brakes are too soft for my liking. Any suggestion would be appreciated.
The Skoda, is currently resting in the garage and will be worked upon as soon as I have some concrete plans for her.

And please, If you ever want to visit the country, do let me know. I'll be happy to host you at my place. No problems at all, and you get to drive in India too:D

Dunno if the rear dampers and brakes are worth the shipment to be ordered from foreign countries, I believe Maruti has a lot in India
