hyundai the 2.0 cars are like usual cars, like nothing serious, but comparing with the 2.0 gti golf, you need to put there a turbo, so then you can become equal with the gti......
but don't think the coupe is awful, they got muscles....

the 2ltr comes with 140 bhp and 137 ftlb so its not too bad really. it depends on what your comparing it to.

Hi and welcome to the site. I think the power comes on quite high up in the rev range so it seems pretty gutless low down. A supercharger would do a lot to lift the power gains.
Ideally with some head work and proper air flow into and out of the engine you could get it up to 160bhp.
Does it need servicing? It may just be a bit clogged up.
