Lowering springs and 4ws

Hi guys,

I hope you can help me with my query. First of all I must apologise if this question has already been asked and answered. I am looking for lowering springs for my 99 lude, 4ws - I've been trying to find information regarding what's the best make of springs to use on the car. I was thinking of getting Eibach but I contacted them and they said that they do not make springs which which is compatible with the lude from 96 onwards. The predicament I'm facing is - deciding what's the best type of springs to get and will it mess up the 4ws as I have previously had problems with the 4ws mechanism. Am I right in thinking that I can fit any spring on the car as the 4ws doesn't have anything to do with the type of spring which is fitted?

Any help will be appreciated.

man i jsut got my car lowered
and the springs to impact on the sterring joint so it might
i had to get new joint and shocks, its a hefty cost if u need to as well
mine is front wheeel drive so i only needed two joints, u may need 4 so ye
mine cost 1400 for shocks, springs and joint
but u may get away with shocks
just make sure u go to a good service place if u are worried bout steering

There's not a lot around, I found some Koni's that might be suitable.

I doub't you'll get much of a drop though - 20-30mm seems to be about the limit on these.
