lose belt?

My 1.8 Zafira has started making a squeaky sound when you short shift and the engines working hard at low revs, noticed it when I put it in 4th while going uphill. any ideas what the cause could be. Just had a new clutch fitted and driveshaft. Don't see how they could be related. Also the car sometimes feels down on power, other times it runs great?

Did you have this noise there before you had the new clutch and drive shaft fitted? If not, then take the car back to the garage and get them to prove it is not down to their works.

there could be a problem with the gearbox, nd i kinda have thw same problem on a hyundia getz 2006
