I wonder what the limits will be for a production car land speed record. I guess it will go on increasing year after year but without rocket propulation there is probably an upper limit.

i would think so as theres only so much space to keep on cramming stuff in. so what are the manufactures going to do when that limit is hit ?

Weight reduction, aerodynamics and I guess engines will always get more powerful. Twin Charging etc... will no doubt be needed on these high power low weight engines.
