hi everyone. just joined this really gud info about cars.:D
i had a question, which engine would provide a better fuel eco a 35cc or a 50cc engine?? reason a must thanks in advance.

Hello and welcome to the site mate

not really a fair question

in theroy the 35cc should be better - im guessing this isnt for a car :) - as its smaller.
however the 50cc could be more economical depending on the manufacture
for example a 3000cc diesel engine will be more economical than a 1600 petrol

my 1800 turbo is more economical than my old 2000 engine

obviously they're not for cars, the thing is i really hav no idea how to figure out the reason which will give better fuel eco. i need the explanation:bigsmile:

it depends on how efficient they are. theres no reason that the 35cc could be more powerful than the 50cc

you may find that the 50cc is more efficient as you dont have to work it so hard to get whatever to move

Yes it is all to do with engine efficiency. Add a turbocharger and things get even more complicated. All things being equal the lower CC and lower power engine will use the least fuel. Sadly the real world isn't like this and all things are never equal.

Welcome to the site, nice to meet you. I hope you enjoy the forums.:)
