Hi all im Dave from the Newcastle area.
Im on the lookout for a car to tinker with and like the look of the GTO.
Anything i should look out for, im in my 40s and i would like a twin turbo manual gearbox if i can afford the insurance. just looking at the mo as i dont have the funds in place yet, so im just trying to get to know things about the car.
Loking forward to some input and hopefully soon i will get the right car with your help. Thanks Dave;)

Hi there, I hope you are well. May I wish you a warm welcome to TorqueCars, it is a pleasure to meet you.

You'll find us a pretty friendly bunch and I'm sure you'll start to love and enjoy the forums as much as we all do. (It gets quite addictive at times.)

Feel free to get involved in our other threads, all opinions are welcome and as they say "the more the merrier"! (It's also great when people start new threads and discussions and all adds to the great debate.)

There are some interesting threads in our Mitsubishi forums you'd do well to read up on.

Keep us up to date with your project as well, we like to see what people are getting up to with their cars.

Welcome. The main thing to think about with the GTOis cost. They are cheaper to buy than supras, skylines and some rx7's. But I think they cost more to run and maintain. The main thing to look at before purchasing one is to make sure the car has been well looked after. I didn't do this and I'm now paying the price for it.
