just thought id say hello.
got mondeo mk2 2ltr lx.
im a total newbie to all this.
would like to know what your first mod would be for this car?

Hey and welcome to torquecars mate.
1st mods id look at would be - ether a panel filter or induction kit along with a decent stainless exhaust.
that woud be performance, other 1st mod might be to lower the car slightly to improve handling

alittle confused with the rubber hose,all k&ns ive see mounted just to the right of the maf senor.any ideas?

Alright biggin...your first mod should depend on what you want from the car. I'd say go for an exhaust system, or maybe a nice set of rims.

The cheapo filters thatjust bolt onto the side of the throttle body draw in hot air
the dearer ones normally come with a better hose that connects in place of your standard intake pipe. this allows colder air

sussed the hose pipe out.i think ill start with air mod then move on to exhaust.
