hello my name is paul and me and my pal have just decided to buy an xr2i efi fiesta and we plan to race it well one day so any advice any one can give us will be GREATLTY appreciated
 
Hi bandit and welcome to TorqueCars. I think you can do quite a lot to those. Are you racing it in the XR2i series? If so there are probably limitations on the mods you can do. Other than that though there are some pretty adventurous engine swaps around from the RS Turbo to RS Cosworth and everything in between.

You must lighten it and uprate the suspension for hte most track fun possible.
 
thanks for the welcome lads im looking for some spax at the moment and yes we have already stripped the car down to a shell apart from the engine we hope to race it in some sort of series but were not sure where to start .I think going to a race meeting some where would be a good start to see what were up against so any suggestions would be good .were based in blackpool lancs but dont hold that against us.
