Hi everyone and I would just like to say thank you for the warm welcome. I've just bought a Hyundai Coupe 2.0 S111 auto 58 plate and I love it..my previous was a Terrano lol..I had no intention of performing any mods but after reading posts on this site I'm hooked...any advice would be really appreciated as I'm completely new at this..I've read about air induction kits, cat back exhaust systems, re-mapping and 4-2-1 manifold headers but could do with some independant advice rather than believing what the companies tell me will be the power increases. I will eventually have a supercharger fitted but am just really enjoying my car at the moment. I have about £2000 to spend on parts for now. Apologies if I'm not in the right area to discuss this as I'm new to forums as well!!

leave remapping out of it as its currently a nasp car and will probably need a new ECU if you go down the supercharger route for a start.
would also look at the suspension and braking if your looking at adding a whack to the power.
also has the conversion be done before? if so what was the engine like, did they have to lower the compression or is it low enough to run some boost, are the componats strong enough to withstand the extra pressure on them

Many thanks for replying...the car is factory standard at present. I thought it would be better to do mechanical upgrades first, exhaust, air induction etc before moving on to superchager and i just wanted to know which are the best to start with as I'm a newbie.
