Hi there and a warm welcome to TorqueCars. Have a look at megasquirt and the open ECU project for a bit more info on DIY remaps.

Frankly if you don't know what you are doing you can really mess up a car so I would proceed with caution.

I presume we are talking about OBDII or OBD2 tuning? Sid446 knows a fair bit about this.
