Thanks for the welcome, she was a bit of a basket case when we got her but getting there now. so far.... changed water pipes underneath to stainless steel, exhaust change to stainless with decat. Vented the bonnet to sort our front end lift to do ... change engine, do thermostat mod, replace ECU strip both subframes and over hall.

You've got your work cut out then. I look forward to reading about your project updated. Which engine are you fitting?

The engine is like for like same vvc but i want to sort out some of the problems with this engine before it goes in. Along the lines of the thermal shock with the thermostat where it is and the clutch leaver seizing up. the main head scratcher is do I split the engine (which runs lovely ) and put in uprated head bolts and oil rail or leave alone.

If Motobuild racing are still around they had some good options for the VVC including CAMs and injectors, and they even setup a supercharger on a 1.8VVC.

If the engine is running well I would leave alone, then if you need to strip it, you have an opportunity to start the internal mods.

Thought better put up a couple of pics. I know she needs a respray but that is last on the list want to do all the work first including replacement front wings.20210828_140744.jpg20210829_153032.jpg
