hi
I currently own a rover 618is and planning the following ecu remap,k&n panel filter or similar, sports exshaust from cat back. Not after all out performance just more responsive acceleration in the lower rev range.

Any tips from anyone here welcomed

Alright mate, we've got a few Rover owners around so you'll have plenty of company there. The plans sound pretty good, I'd advise a powerflow exhaust mate...I've got one, they are brilliant!

ey and welcome to the site mate

id leave the remap till last so you can get the benifits of all the mods done to it.
a fuel pressure regulator with sharpen up throttle responce

HI Chaser and welcome. Is that the VVC engine? If so I would get a fast road cam on that mod list. Remaps were not possible for my 220 with its MEMS unit so the only option I had was a piggyback ecu. I doubt a remap will make much difference.

A panel filter is a good choice and will keep your low down power. It can also make quite a difference getting the head flowed and ported.

FSE Fuel pressure boost valve as PG suggests will improve the throttle response a lot. The best exhausts I found for the Rover were Scorpion. Lovely deep sound.

Hi waynne. engine is a honda, infact all running gear is from an accord. After lots of searching on net options do seem limited, will be going for a power flow exhaust and will look at fuel regulator.
Thanks for the advice
