little did i know that irmscher, vauxhalls tuning company do offer a relatively cheap HUD for any car - only £50!

does anyone have one already? and are they worth it?

any opinions, facts etc welcome!

This would be on my list of the usless things they are adding to new cars. I like a good old fashoined set of dials me.

I'm surprised that HUD's have not become common options on modern cars. It makes sense from the cool aesthetic and road safety points of view. If fighter pilots use them then why not drivers.

I can see the point. My wife's Yaris has the projected speedo etc. Which means you don't have to refocus from distance to dials. Toyota discontinued this for their later Yaris bizarrely.
