Future classic cars ?

What cars do you think will become a future classic ? I was thinking

Escort RS Turbo
Subaru P1 and 22B
Mitsubishi Evo Tommi Mak
BMW M3 ? what model, e30 ? e36 ?

What else can you think of that will become a classic that you with you never sold or wish you bought ! :toung:

Where have you pair been for the last ten years, Escort/Fiesta RS Turbos, E30 M3's and Escort Cossies have virtually been classics for years and years.

Tommi Maks a given but when we talk about "future classics" we mean recent cars that will be classics in another 10years or so

Focus Rs Mk1 - Only 2147 sold in the UK, only around 1800 left, its a fast Ford and an RS, say no more

Any RS Evo - Just look of the price of them now even, that price hasn't budged for years.

Grande Punto Abarth - 500 Abarth is selling like hot cakes, commonness (?) reduces value and potential classic status. Punto Abarth didn't sell so well but is still a good car and still and Abarth.

156 and 147 GTA - Rediculously good-looking and desirable. Flawed but charming, holding value well now.

Clio V6 - Rare, quick but being French might hamper its chances imo.

That's all I can think of atm.

The E30 M3 has already gained classic status amongst BMW enthusiasts. Have a look at what sort of money they go for now. It's crazy.
