ford C-max brake coherence fault

Hi ppl havent been on for a while i am having a problem that i hope someone else has experianced. Ford C-Max TDCI Automatic.car went into limp home mode with the engine light on.checked the fault codes fault was brake switch A and B coherence fault? cleared the code as it was intermitant.3 months later same again this time it happened on the M6 in the fast lane!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! both switchs have been changed it was ok for 5-6 months then it happened again.checked all wiring all ok.has anyone had any problems with the mounting brackets moving that the switchs mount on?

i am starting to run out of options?

Sounds like a strange one this. Electrical faults are a nightmare to track down sometimes. It just be a dodgy switch, stamping the brake on and off a few times might help clear the problem.

A friend of mine with a similar problem (brake related error code) tracked it down to a dodgy brake light bulb of all things!
